Earlier these trends were picked up from Bollywood and Hollywood, celebrities, fashion designer etc However since the connectivity is much stronger and closer, we are able to view the world at once and certainly the trends take lesser time to be established, while letting people take a note a lot of them quicker and flaunt it pretty well, letting the entire world know about it. They start on a smaller note, but the moment it gets popular, trends that started out small can wind up transforming the way we live.
